Calvary Baptist Church

Sonrise Baptist Church is an independent Baptist congregation serving southwest Tucson since 1974. Led by Pastor Eliazar Perez, the church holds Sunday morning worship at 10:00 AM in English and 11:30 AM in Spanish. Sunday evening Growth Groups begin at 6:00 PM, and Wednesday Bible study, prayer and children's clubs begin at 7:00 PM. Nursery care serves newborns through age three, with children's church, junior and senior high groups, and a College and Career ministry for young adults ages 18-29. Men's and women's ministries provide Bible study and fellowship. The church supports missionaries around the world and operates Sonrise Baptist Academy, which offers kindergarten enrollment.

Desert Springs Baptist Church is an independent Baptist congregation in northwest Tucson, founded in 1998. Pastor Ron Moxon has led the church since 2008. Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:00 AM, followed by morning worship at 10:00 AM and evening worship at 6:00 PM. Wednesday Bible study and prayer meet at 7:00 PM. Worship includes hymns, choruses and Bible preaching. Nursery care serves infants through age three, children's church serves K4 through fifth grade, and youth ministry serves sixth through twelfth grades. Men's and women's Bible studies, fellowship, community outreach and missionary support provide further opportunities to participate.

Calvary Chapel Sierra Vista meets at 1155 E Wilcox Drive for contemporary worship and Bible teaching. Services are held Sundays at 9:00 and 11:00 AM, Saturdays at 6:00 PM and Thursdays at 7:00 PM. Children's ministry serves nursery through sixth grade during each service. Junior-high, high-school, young-adult and senior ministries offer further opportunities for fellowship and study. The church also provides addiction-support groups, practical care through Healthy Hallelujah and Calvary Connections, and biblical ministry training. It supports missionaries overseas and several local community organizations.

Calvary Oro Valley was founded in 2002 and is led by founding and Senior Pastor Craig Roters. Sunday worship begins at 9:00 and 11:00 AM, with Wednesday Bible study at 7:00 PM. The church emphasizes Scripture, discipleship and serving others. Calvary Kids serves infants through fifth grade during all three gatherings. The Cove youth ministry serves grades six through twelve and meets on the first and third Fridays each month. Men's and women's Bible studies, prayer and an Embrace Grace ministry for expectant and new mothers provide further opportunities to connect.

Calvary Chapel Tucson is a Bible-centered church led by Pastor Robert Furrow. Its West Campus at 5170 S Julian Drive gathers Sundays at 8:45 and 11:15 AM and Wednesdays at 7:15 PM. Visitors receive a welcome packet, and services emphasize teaching Scripture. Calvary Kids serves infants through fifth grade during regular services, while junior and senior high students meet at the West Campus on Wednesday evenings. Sunday's 11:15 AM service includes deaf interpretation, and The Reception offers a Bible-based class and support for people of all ages with special needs. Small groups, men's and women's Bible studies, young-adult ministry, marriage ministry and local and global missions provide ways to get involved. Mission Thrift at the West Campus supports the church's missions fund.

Calvary Chapel of Sahuarita began as a Bible study led by Pastor Joonho Kim in 2001 and became a church in 2002. The church serves Sahuarita and Green Valley with practical, verse-by-verse Bible teaching. Worship meets Sundays at 10:00 AM and Thursdays at 7:00 PM. Ministries include nursery care, children's classes, junior-high and high-school youth, women's Bible study and a monthly men's prayer breakfast. The church supports missions in several countries and participates in Operation Christmas Child.

Calvary Christian Fellowship of Tucson began in January 1994 and is led by Senior Pastor Scott Richards. The church teaches the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter and book by book. Sunday worship meets at 9:00 and 11:00 AM at 3850 N Commerce Drive, and the Wednesday Oasis service begins at 6:30 PM. Calvary Kids and student ministry serve families, with children's care currently available during the 9:00 AM Sunday service. Home fellowship groups, young adult gatherings, men's and women's ministries, biblical counseling and grief support offer ways to grow and find support. The church also participates in local outreach and global missions, and broadcasts worship and Bible-answer programs online.

Fellowship Bible Church is an independent, nondenominational congregation in east Tucson, founded in April 1989 and led by Senior Pastor Pat McClanahan. Sunday worship begins at 10:00 AM at 6700 E Broadway Boulevard, with modern worship music and practical Bible teaching. NexTgen provides nursery, preschool and children's ministry through fifth grade, and student ministry serves middle school, high school and college students. Small groups meet on campus and in homes, alongside men's and women's studies. The church supports local and global partners involved in church planting, discipleship and meeting practical needs.
