Questions

What should I know before my first visit?

The regular Sunday schedule is 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with Wednesday gatherings at 7:00 PM. The main entrance is on 40th Street East at Lancaster Boulevard; parking attendants and greeters can help. During the Worship Center remodel, https://www.lancasterbaptist.org/summer-schedule lists current rooms and temporary changes. That notice gives the Walther Center at 44538 40th Street East for Sunday gatherings. Services are typically a little over an hour, rather than a guaranteed exact duration.

What is available for children and teenagers?

Kid City has nursery, preschool and elementary classes, with children's programs during Sunday mornings and Cactus Kids Club on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. Arrive about 20 minutes early and check in at the Children's Welcome Center. Childcare volunteers are screened and background-checked. Teen Bible study meets Wednesdays at 7:00 PM: junior high in The Station and senior high in The Hangar. Confirm current room locations during construction.

What should I wear, and are visitors expected to give?

There is no dress code for members or guests, although many ministry leaders and attendees wear traditional Sunday clothing. Visitors are welcome to be comfortable and are not expected to participate in the offering.

Is there ministry for Deaf visitors or help with transportation?

The Deaf ministry has an ASL worship service and interpreted services, with the Vital Signs class at 9:30 AM on Sundays. Contact the church for current locations. Free bus routes serve families and children in parts of the Antelope Valley; children must be at least five to ride without a parent, and a permission form is required. See https://www.lancasterbaptist.org/connect/deaf and https://www.lancasterbaptist.org/connect/bus.

How can I find a group or support?

Connection Groups serve different life stages on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings; find current classes at https://www.lancasterbaptist.org/connect. Biblical counseling is available through the church office. The eight-week Growing through Grief elective began September 13, 2026; contact the office for current availability rather than assuming it runs year-round.

Can I watch online?

Services are livestreamed at https://lancasterbaptist.online.church. Spanish and Korean ministries have their own schedules. Ask the church office about the relevant gathering and current room location.
