Mountain Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational church in Mount Shasta that fellowships with Calvary Chapel. Founded in 1987, it has been led by John Yount since November 2021. Sunday worship includes music, prayer and book-by-book Bible teaching. Children join their families for worship and communion before moving to age-appropriate care and classes. Men's and women's Bible studies meet during the week, and Fika & Fun offers fellowship for mothers and young children. The church also supports homeschooling families and local outreach.

Fellowship and coffee begin Sunday at 9:00 AM, followed by worship at 10:00 AM at 2324 South Mt. Shasta Boulevard. Children join their families for music and communion, then ages zero through five can attend nursery and ages six through twelve can attend Children's Church. The Joyful Noise room is available for nursing mothers and families with little ones; its entrance is in the foyer to the right of the main Worship Center entrance. Wednesday men's and women's studies meet at 6:00 PM with dinner and childcare. Women also meet Thursday at 10:30 AM. Weekly youth Bible studies are currently on hold during a ministry transition; ask the church about current events and arrangements.

How do children participate on Sunday?

Children join their families for music and communion. After that, ages zero through five can attend nursery and ages six through twelve can attend Children's Church. The Joyful Noise room for nursing mothers and families with little ones is entered from the foyer, to the right of the Worship Center's main entrance.

What weekday groups are available?

Men's and women's Bible studies meet Wednesday at 6:00 PM with dinner and childcare. Women also meet Thursday at 10:30 AM. Fika & Fun meets Tuesday from 10:00 AM to noon for mothers and young children; contact the church for its current location. Homeschooling families can also connect for support.

Is the weekly youth Bible study currently meeting?

The Crossing's weekly Bible studies are currently on hold while the youth ministry is in transition. Contact the church for current youth events, Mount Shasta Youth Ministry gatherings and other arrangements rather than relying on an older weekly schedule.
