Vista, CA Churches with Care & Support Ministries

Calvary Vista gathers for three Sunday services and a Wednesday evening service at its East Vista Way campus. Lead Pastor Rob Salvato has served in that role since 1996. The church emphasizes Bible teaching in a casual atmosphere and offers English and Spanish gatherings. Children, junior-high and high-school students, young adults, men and women have ministries suited to their stages of life. Pastoral counseling, discipleship, marriage support, GriefShare and faith-based recovery are also available.

Refuge Christian Fellowship North County meets in Vista for Sunday worship and a Tuesday evening gathering. Pastor Howard Andersen and lead minister Lucia Andersen lead a community shaped by faith-based recovery work and care for people facing difficult circumstances. Refuge Rangers serves children ages three through ten, with a separate youth ministry for junior-high and high-school students. Men's, women's, couples' and home groups offer fellowship, while Helping Hands provides meals and assistance to church families. Services are also available online.

Arise Presbyterian Church serves Vista, Oceanside and Carlsbad and belongs to the Presbyterian Church in America. Sunday worship includes prayers, songs and hymns, Scripture readings, a Bible sermon and the Lord's Supper, followed by coffee and snacks. Children take part in the service, with a children's talk and bulletin, and nursery care is available. Pastor Brad Jones leads the congregation, which was replanted in 2020 from Grace Covenant Church of Vista.
