First Presbyterian Church worships in its historic downtown sanctuary on East Seventh Street in Panama City. Sunday school begins at 9:15 AM and worship at 10:25 AM. Traditional worship includes psalms and hymns with piano, organ or guitar and Scripture-centered preaching. Heath Taws serves as senior pastor. The congregation belongs to the Presbyterian Church in America and began in 1913. Children's classes, nursery care, youth and young-adult ministries, senior-adult ministry and a chancel choir are available.

Covenant Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian Church in America congregation at 2350 Frankford Avenue in Panama City. Sunday worship meets at 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Stephen Tipton serves as senior pastor. The church follows the Reformed faith expressed in the Westminster Confession and Catechisms. Worship includes hymns and praise songs, Scripture readings, confession of faith and preaching. Ministries serve children, youth, men and women, while fellowship groups meet regularly for meals and activities. Covenant Christian School provides classical Christian education from preschool through twelfth grade on the campus.

Wednesday in the Word meets at 6:30 PM, with a fellowship meal at 5:30 PM. Bruce Barton is the senior pastor. Services combine classic hymns and modern gospel songs with practical Bible teaching. Nursery care, children's ministry, student ministry and adult classes provide ways for different ages to take part. The church welcomes first-time visitors without a dress code or an expectation to give, and offers a Sunday morning bus ministry for children, teenagers and their parents.
