Peoples Baptist Church in McDonough was organized in 1947 and has met on Mill Road since 2001. Worship is traditional, with congregational hymns, choir and orchestra music and Bible preaching. Sunday school serves children through senior adults, with nursery care and children's church during morning worship. Midweek prayer and Bible study, King's Kids, teen ministry and men's and women's gatherings provide further opportunities to take part. The church operates Peoples Baptist Academy for K3 through twelfth grade and supports community outreach and global missions.
