Homewood Community Church
Homewood Community Church is a Presbyterian Church in America congregation that began public worship in February 2019. Pastor Tom Franklin leads the church with a ministry team serving children, youth, worship and local mercy. Sunday worship meets at 9:30 AM at The Exceptional Foundation, 1616 Oxmoor Road in Homewood. Nursery care serves children from birth through age three, and kindergarten through second-grade children may attend Children's Worship during the sermon before returning for communion. Sunday Night Kids serves kindergarten through fifth grade, and the church has junior- and senior-high youth groups. Adult Community Groups meet around Homewood for fellowship and discipleship. The congregation's mission is to love God, love its neighbors and love its place.
