Where do Sunday and Wednesday gatherings meet?
Sunday worship begins at 10:00 AM in the Orange Glen High School theater, 2041 Bear Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA 92027. Wednesday Bible study begins at 6:30 PM at the East Valley Community Center, 2245 E Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA 92027. These are different venues. Sunday gatherings typically last about 90 minutes, with singing, verse-by-verse teaching and fellowship. Bring a Bible or borrow one from the back table.
How do I find the Sunday entrance and parking?
Enter Orange Glen High School from Bear Valley Parkway at Patriot Place/Midway Drive, by the football field. Overflow parking is in the staff lot at the front of the school off Glenridge Road. Campus maps: https://calvarychapelescondido.com/campusmap.
What should I wear?
Most people dress casually. Shorts and flip-flops are welcome; visitors are not expected to dress formally or take on obligations to attend.
What is available for my children?
Children first join their parents for singing on Sunday, then go to Calvary Kids for preschool through fifth grade or junior-high teaching for grades 6-8. Nursery and younger children's rooms are in the next building. Check in before the main service; the same parent must sign a child in and out. Volunteers receive background checks, training and interviews. On Wednesday, children stay with their parents in the service.
How can I connect during the week or help someone?
Home groups meet in homes in Escondido and Valley Center for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. The meals ministry helps people in the church during illness, injury, a new baby or other periods of need, including meals and practical errands or rides. Ask about current groups at https://calvarychapelescondido.com/homegroups and meals at https://calvarychapelescondido.com/meals.
Where can I watch services?
The homepage provides the church's Watch Live section, and teaching is available through https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3O_yk6YDPGmnrf-DA4Oetw.
Is the office address also the worship venue?
The office and mailing address is 350 West 5th Avenue, Suite 320, Escondido, CA 92025. It is not the Sunday or Wednesday worship venue.
