First Presbyterian Church of Ellijay, previously known as Cartecay Gathering, is a distinctly Reformed and Presbyterian mission church of the Presbyterian Church in America. The church intentionally centers its ministry around the ordinary means of grace: Word, sacraments, and prayer. It gathers for Sunday School, Sunday worship, and Wednesday dinner, prayer, and teaching, and seeks to love and care for neighbors while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
