Cross Creek Church

Cross Creek Church is a Presbyterian Church in America congregation in Hoover that began in 2009 under Pastor Chris Peters. Sunday School for adults, youth and children meets at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM. The church emphasizes expository preaching, prayer, the sacraments and singing, with music drawn from traditional and modern hymns and contemporary songs. Nursery care serves infants through age three, and children in K4 through second grade can attend Children's Church. Wednesday evenings include Kids' Club, youth gatherings, adult studies and nursery care. Life Groups share meals, prayer and Bible discussion in smaller communities. Mom's Morning Out provides part-time weekday childcare. The church's House of Refuge ministry supports families facing unplanned pregnancy and those considering foster care or adoption. Cross Creek also serves local ministry partners and supports missions in the United States and overseas.
