Calvary Chapel Palm Desert began in 2005 and is led by Pastor Joe Coleman. The church emphasizes chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse Bible teaching, worship and prayer. Sunday gatherings include nursery care and classes for preschool children through high school, with younger children's programs also available on Wednesdays. Men's discipleship, women's Bible study, prayer gatherings and Saturday evening teaching offer opportunities to connect during the week. The congregation also brings Bible teaching and fellowship to residents of a senior community.
